About the event

We are ushering in spring with our second annual Spring Equinox Hike, a special collaboration with our resident Herbalist - Anjanae founder of Rose Gold Alchemy.

The theme of this event is Plant & Push.  

PLANT

Spring is a time for deep cleaning, weeding, pruning, and preparing your soil for new seeds. We will cover three locally grown herbs, Dandelion, Burdock, and Red Clover, that assist with cleansing physically, spiritually, and emotionally to prepare you for the next season.  

There will also be some light medicine making, so please bring along a 4 oz glass jar (or purchase one from us for $2)! We’ll wrap up with an original guided meditation from Anjanae of Rose Gold Alchemy.

PUSH

We've planned a moderate hike of about 4.5 miles that will push you beyond your self imposed physical, mental & emotional limitations.  It may be a challenge but you will overcome by way of your own strength and with the support of community pushing you to achieve. 

So far the weather looks pretty good for a hike, but it is still too early to tell so we will continue to monitor it. 

Again this hike is rated as a moderate hike but as always, you go at your pace, no Hood Hiker will be left behind.

Exact meet up location for the the hike will be provided in the confirmation email after registration.

We will meet on the trail at 9:00 a.m. sharp!

If you have your own transportation, you will receive the address for your GPS upon registration. recommend getting there early to secure parking.  

The location is in Sloatsburg, New York, less than an hour away from the Bronx.
