The Hood Hikers got a chance to participate in Timberland's outdoor campaign which highlights how nature is for us all. We had so much fun shooting this with Black Men Hike LA, Baked Agency, and Chris Digs.

1st Annual Black History Month Hike Collabo
We partnered up with the magnificent guides of Trials, Trails and Triumphs (T3 Hikes) & Tristate Hikers to celebrate Black History Month on the trail. Gina from T3 Hikes was our guide, She did a great job navigating us through the snowy hike as we ventured Norvin Green State Forest. We had such a blast that we decided to make it an annual celebration! Join us next year!
The North Face Explore Fund
We were extremely fortunate to be nominated and selected to be apart of The North Face Explore Fund. We received a generous grant, which will go toward equipping our participants with gear and providing transportation! The North Face will also partner with us throughout the year to amplify and assist us in different ways! Make sure you show us some love on their announcement and any future mentions of The Hood Hikers!

Last month we were fortunate to participate in a couple of engaging discussions with some amazing folks doing really great work in their fields.
We joined Hype Beast for a HypeTalk on Twitter Spaces about outdoor inclusion & representation with fellow grantees of The North Face Explore Fund.
We were also invited to participate in a panel at Patagonia's new Brooklyn location as part of Leah Thomas' book tour for The Intersectional Environmentalist, along with latinooutdoors_nyc. Major shout out to the MVPs Bilen, Leesi, and Jenna for reppin the hood hikers and holding down our table during the event!
